The name Parkopedia is a combination of the words parking and encyclopedia - similar to Wikipedia, but specifically for parking. It was created out of a shared frustration of the difficulty in finding parking spaces. Parkopedia's mission is to comprehensively map and list every parking space in the world. Currently, Parkopedia covers an impressive 70 million parking spaces across over 15,000 cities worldwide, thanks to contributions from drivers like yourself.

With the Parkopedia app, you can easily:

1. Find parking using your current location or by entering an address
2. Get directions directly to the parking space or entrance
3. View real-time parking space availability (Premium upgrade required, where applicable)
4. Access important information such as opening hours, up-to-date prices, accepted payment methods, and more
5. Efficiently filter your parking choices based on criteria such as street parking availability, free spaces, credit card acceptance, covered spaces, and more
